

Our Hybrid Microschool

This co-op meets weekly at St. John’s UCC Church and the Burbaker House campuses. K2 is a year-long, one-day cooperative lasting two and a quarter hours. It welcomes new or prospective homeschool families with K–2 students in a friendly setting. This is a drop-off program with rotating parent volunteers.
K-2

General curriculum includes English through reading and writing workshop with spelling, grammar, poetry, and composition; social studies covering ancient civilizations, PA history, the Middle Ages, geography, world cultures, and American history; science, math, arts, and electives taught through interdisciplinary units.
Middle School

General curriculum includes English through reading and writing workshop with spelling, grammar, poetry, and composition; social studies covering ancient civilizations, PA history, the Middle Ages, geography, world cultures, and American history; science, math, arts, and electives taught through interdisciplinary units.
Elementary

General curriculum includes English with reading and writing workshop, literature, poetry, speech, communication, and research skills; social studies from the Middle Ages through modern America and geography; science, math through pre-calculus, and electives including health, PE, Bible, projects, experiential learning, and community service.
High School
Pathways K-2 Program




K2 is a year-long, two-and-a-quarter hour, one-day weekly cooperative. Our innovative K-2 program brings new or potential homeschool parents and children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, together in a non-intimidating way. This is a drop-off program,
but parents will be asked to volunteer on a rotating basis.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
The K-2 student classes run for 30 weeks throughout the school year.
Classes run from 9:00 am to 11:15 am and 12:15 pm to 2:30 pm
on Mondays. No childcare provided for younger siblings.
