Pathways math curriculum will focus on the diverse mathematical needs of each individual child. Math skills will also be applied during our hands-on learning activities.

Elementary Curriculum Our teacher-provided elementary curriculum uses The Good and the Beautiful curriculum as its base. Our skilled teachers supplement and individualize the program as needed.
Parents may also choose to provide their own math curriculum, which would include assigning and grading the lessons. At the elementary level, we strongly encourage our students to be enrolled in teacher-provided lessons. There is a small materials fee.

Middle School Curriculum Pathways will provide basic math or pre-algebra (Math Mammoth), taught by Pathways teachers. There is a small materials fee. Parents may choose to continue to provide and administer their own math curriculum if desired (Independent Study). Advanced students may enroll in a high school math. Parent-provided math should only be chosen by parents confident in their own math abilities, willing to teach and supervise the lessons, and able to hold their students accountable. While time is provided during the Pathways' day, the student needs to know what the parents assignments and expectations for the day are.

High School Curriculum Pathways offers Algebra, Geometry, Personal Finance and Consumer Math. Parents contract with the math teacher, who comes on-site at least weekly, along with additional lessons that are assigned or on Zoom. Payment for these classes are made directly to the math teacher.
Parents may also provide parent chosen curriculum which they purchase, assign and grade. Parent-provided math should only be chosen by parents confident in their own math abilities, willing to teach and supervise the lessons, and able to hold their student accountable. While time is provided during the Pathways day, the student needs to know what the parents assignments and expectations for the day are.

Please keep in mind technology needs for the curriculum chosen for upper level students. It must be compatible with your student's laptop/chromebook, and if there is an audio component, students should have earbuds/headphones for listening.
